FAQ

Will you help set-up our venue? Supply tables, chairs and bar? Supply Linen, glassware, crockery and cutlery?

We are happy to be involved in the setting up of your venue. It’s important for us to know where our allotted spaces will be on the day and in relation to chiller units/storage.

We can provide solutions for the positioning of tables and chairs, bar area and serving area (if a buffet option is your style of meal).

We have an extensive collection of vintage and retro china, glassware and cutlery with tablecloths and linens to complete your individual style.  which are available to hire for your occasion.

We have a built up excellent working relationships with many local suppliers Marquee Companies, Catering Supplies and micro Brewery's with whom we can liaise on your behalf.

Can you supply staff on the day including bar staff?

After our initial discussions we will provide a quotation based on your requirements and this will include an estimation of how many of our team members will support the advance party on the day. Dependant on how many guests, we work on 2 – 3 for set up and kitchen prep with required numbers to keep the occasion running smoothly, arriving approximately 1 hour before your party commences. Bar staff can be with us for the whole event or part thereof.

Can we change our mind?

In our experience not many people are ready to book on their first meeting to discuss the big day.  In the initial planning stages, ideas along with suggestions from everyone involved normally mean changes take place.  All we ask is that any changes, however small they may seem, be communicated to us as soon as they are made!  We try to be as flexible as possible and will always endeavour to accommodate your amendments wherever possible.

Can we supply part of the meal?

Certainly! It’s good to know well in advance who is responsible for what and whether your part of the meal will require heating, cooling etc...

Do we need to pay a deposit?

Yes, please! We ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit of the accepted quotation cost, which reserves the Good for a Party team for your occasion.

A further 60% of the quotation cost is required one month prior to your event with the remaining 15% payable on the day, and no later that 7 days post event.  Thank you.
